General Military Course (GMC)

The General Military Course (GMC) is the first of the Air Force ROTC program’s two courses, comprised of cadets in their first (AS100 or AS250) and second (AS200) years. Entry requirements include:

• Enrollment in an accredited college that hosts or has a crosstown agreement with a host detachment
• United States citizenship (if on scholarship)
• Be in good physical condition (i.e. able to pass the Air Force Physical Fitness Assessment)
• Be of good moral character
• At least 17 years old
• Commit to attend both Aerospace Studies (AS) class and Leadership Laboratory (LLAB) each semester
